Let’s Chat Adds 3 Talented Members to Team

Let’s Chat has added three talented technical members to its already strong team of three co-founders.

This Spring, Let’s Chat added three talented technical members to its already strong team of three co-founders. Clemens Ehrenreich, Michael Ha, and Christian Østergaard Laursen join the team bringing a diversity of technical, corporate, and startup experience that will be invaluable to the business moving forward.

Clemens Ehrenreich is a backend and mobile developer and is completing his undergraduate studies in Computing from the University of Central Lancashire and will be graduating in May 2016. Previously Ehrenreich worked in Customer Implementations for Sabre Airline Solutions, managing a large scale installation and customization for Scandinavian Airlines (SAS). Additionally, Ehrenreich has an IT consultancy specializing in software development - from web to app development, including iOS and Android.

Christian Østergaard Laursen is a frontend developer with a Master's in ICT Product Development from Aarhus University. Laursen has published multiple articles in the in ACM and IEEE Journals and has done work globally including France and Japan. He also ran a consultancy during his Master’s studies specializing in software development & UX/UI design.

Michael Ha is a UX/UI designer with Bachelor’s in Product Design and Master's in ICT Product Development both from Aarhus University. Ha has worked with international clients on design projects including Volkswagen on interaction design and Adecco on service design. Ha specializes in Product, user experience, and graphic design.

Ehrenreich, Laursen, and Ha are supported by Let’s Chat’s team of co-founders Chang Liu, Elizabeth Oviedo, and Megan Kirk, who have a shared passion and vision for Let’s Chat and have the tenacity to make Let’s Chat the standard in digital language learning.

Chang Liu is studying business at Arizona State University (ASU.) She is from Chengdu, China and has a strong understanding of the Chinese educational landscape and connections with many of the largest colleges in China and their language learning departments and clubs. Liu’s personal experience of having studied English in China her entire life only to struggle conversationally once she arrived in the United States formed the inspiration for Let’s Chat.

Elizabeth Oviedo is a dual degree candidate--Masters in Business Administration and Masters of Science in Information Management--at ASU. Previously, Oviedo’s professional career spanned eight years in the software industry and the education industry as a certified teacher of students learning English as a second language and non-profit fundraiser.

Megan Kirk is completing her MBA at ASU and also received her undergraduate degree in Communications from ASU, where she studied Human and Intercultural Communication. Kirk has six years of work experience in a global fortune 1,000 company. She held varying roles including global compensation and most recently executive compensation.

In addition, Let’s Chat has a strong advisory board that is made up of the following industry leaders: Carr Bettis, Les Brun, Thomas Cowan, and Allan Kaplan. Dr. Carr Bettis is the founder and chief architect of numerous market-leading financial science and technology innovations, and businesses. Les Brun is chairman and CEO of Sarr Group, LLC, a diversified holding company for his investments and currently serves on the Board of Directors for Merck and HP. Tom Cowan has created and mobilized value in several enterprise software companies. His career also includes two decades at IBM, starting in the finance department and moving to CFO and GM roles. Allan Kaplan is co-founder of three successful technology companies and is a partner in a private venture fund. He has a proven track record in business development, institutional funding, and mergers and acquisitions.
